We are delighted to share that Hornby Alumni Dr Amol Padwad, Yiviri Rasifatu Tombir, Cecilia Nobre, and Anestin Lum Chi took part in the World Teachers’ Day Conference 2025, hosted by the British Council.
This year’s online conference brought together educators and teacher association leaders from around the world to explore the theme “Teachers as Agents of Change in English Language Education.”
The event opened on Thursday 9 October, with Cecilia Nobre and Anestin Lum Chi discussing the importance of reflective practices in English language teaching. Watch the recording here.
On Friday 10 October, Hornby alumni Dr Amol Padwad and Yiviri Rasifatu Tombir joined the panel “Multilingual Approaches in the Classroom – a panel discussion.”
